The translating of nutritional science and information on food into practical dietary advice are what Dietetics all about. It is targeted at the general public or in a clinical environment to create awareness on health and treat the various medical disorders present in today’s world. BSc Dietetics courses would involve topics such as Biochemistry, Human Physiology, Pathology and Clinical Medicine. BSc Dietetics undergraduate will be taught on how consumption of food and dietary requirements can be altered by illness. Students will learn to treat diseases via applying therapeutic diets. In addition, students will acquire the knowledge and skills to react to the varied needs of patients, families and carers different settings.
