The ANUC is offers 3 other main programs pathways which lead to places in the top university. The ANU Foundation Studies, the ANU Express, the Diploma of Computing and the Diploma of Liberal Studies. The ANU diploma-level programs are designed to fit students who are thinking of pursuing the respective area of studies at the Degree-level, for the Diploma of Liberal Studies, there is a direct progression to the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Arts due to it providing a strong foundation. For the Diploma of Computing on the other hand it is for students who want to go into the program of the Bachelor of Information Technology in ANU. The diploma programs both give solid grounding in the basic requirement to be successful in the relevant degree programs.
The ANU Express program is a 1 semester (17 weeks) program which is designed for the academic preparation for their intended ANU degree programs. This express program, upon successful completion only if the student passes all enrolled courses, will provide entry into ANU if the student meets the grade point average set by ANU. This grade point average is determined from the four academic course grades that are taken during the 17 weeks.
