Designing and disseminating strategic fashion business insight via forefront in education, research and consultancy is GCU’s British School of Fashion. The school delivers various globally exceptional mix of Masters and MBA programmes. Courses are co-created through honorary university lecturers with industry expertise, academic experts and the innovation of GCU students. In 2000, The British School of Fashion was the first UK institution to provide an MSc in International Fashion Marketing. Similarly, it offers the world’s first MSc in Digital Fashion Strategy. The School’s portfolio includes five flagship courses: MBA Luxury Brand Management, MSc Luxury Brand Marketing, MSc Fashion Business Creation, MSc Digital Fashion Strategy, and MSc International Fashion Marketing.
Ensuring graduates acquire the essential skills and proficiency to lead a business in fashion in today’s global market, the British School of Fashion provides courses that fully engage with the fashion industry through collaborations and partnerships with various successful companies. The School conducts series of Masterclasses with leading industry experts such as Imran Amed, Founder and CEO of The Business of Fashion (BoF). Postgraduate Scholarships
GCU London offers its students a range of scholarships that cover fees or provide a maintenance grant to support its students during their course of studies. Future GCU London students who pay the full fees of their course before the start of term can receive a 5% discount on the overall tuition fees. Self-funded students in the MSc Courses can apply for GCU London’s International Scholarship in which a £1,600 scholarship is available towards their first annual fees and £1,000 for the subsequent year. (Students are eligible for up to £2,600 off tuition fees.)
Students who can best exhibit dedication and engagement in the Fashion and Marketing industry may be awarded the Marks & Spencer (M&S) Scholarship for fashion programmes
Selected by a panel of fashion experts, the M&S Scholarship focuses on an enriched academic experience, professional development and employability. Successful applicants will receive full fee funded places per year, with access to the Marks & Spencer Studio on the London Campus and a mentor from the company for the year.
Likewise, a special Santander Fee Scholarship of £5,000 is available for full time Singaporean Masters students. In support for the next generation of talent in fashion retail, enterprising GCU London fashion business students can apply for a seed funding grant of up to £30,000 and a pop up shop space through the retailRIGHT and Hammerson Scholarship programme to develop and launch their business. The retailRIGHT Scholarship also grants for a full fee scholarship covering tuition fees.
